Silk Cut Lino
Our Silk Cut Lino has been specially made for artists. It is softer and less dense than traditional brown lino and features a fabric backing. Images can be drawn on to the product with pencil, ink or transfer and can be put on a hot plate to warm for easy cutting.
Please note silk cut may vary slightly in size by 1-3mm due to manufacturing and manual cutting processes.
Silk Cut Lino can be cut easily by scoring through the back of the lino and then folding to break of the new size.
All Lino should be sanded lightly with a fine grit sandpaper, before transferring any design and carving for consistent results when printing.
