This brush is a part of Isabey's 'Nouvelle' watercolour brush range featuring 15 updated brush series in various sizes with a fresh modern look.

Natural-finish and black lacquered wood short handles are accented with a gold ring. A nickel-coated brass ferrule also features a gold-effect surface finish, providing excellent water resistance. The handles feature hanging loops to dry the brushes upside down, helping to extend the life of the brush.

Isabey brushmakers must apprentice 10 years before being allowed to make the Kolinsky sable, red sable and Siberian blue squirrel mop brushes.
