BIG Ground Tins

Well known amongst printmakers the BIG Ground is now available in a convenient 120ml tin.
These versatile new tins will make it easier for you to scoop up unused ground and place it back into the tin, meaning far less waste! Even better - they’re plastic free, making BIG even more environmentally friendly.

Also known as Baldwins Ink Ground. BIG is a non-toxic alternative that doubles as a soft ground and a hard ground.
For a soft ground, simply roll out the ground thinly and consistently onto your plate.
For a hard ground, bake the ground once rolled out on the plate for 6 minutes at 135C. (275f) fan forced oven before etching.
To remove the ground, simply give it a quick polish with Brasso or you could use a non toxic stripper.
