BIG Ground
Also known as Baldwins Ink Ground.
BIG is a non-toxic alternative that doubles as a soft ground and a hard ground.
For a soft ground, simply roll out the ground thinly and consistently onto your plate.
For a hard ground, bake the ground once rolled out on the plate for 6 minutes at 135C. (275f) fan forced oven before etching.
To remove the ground, simply give it a quick polish with Brasso or you could use a non toxic stripper.
Andrew Baldwin discusses how to use the BIG ground on his youtube tutorial, which can be viewed HERE.
