Awagami Gampishi

Awagami Gampishi is a beautifully translucent paper and at 30gsm, relatively thick for a paper made of 100% gampi fibre make it incredibly strong. The gampi fibre makes for a paper with an incredible smooth satin finish. Gampishi is an off-white tone and highly translucent with a less visible fibre throughout than other Japanese papers.

These handmade papers have 4 deckled edged and being pH neutral are resistant to light and humidity, highly sought after for it's uses in conservation and printmaking techniques such as chine-collé.
