Deluxe Table Easel
A tabletop H-frame easel with an adjustable working angle. The frame is hinged at the base and supported by side braces, so you can set it fairly upright for painting or lean it back for drawing and detailed work, then fold it down for storage when you’re done.
Made from beech, it sits on a flat base that keeps it steady on a desk or bench. Brass wing nuts on the side braces lock the frame at your chosen angle. The work rests on a broad ledge, and a sliding top clamp with a brass screw adjusts along the mast to hold boards and canvases of different heights.
