Tilted Drawing Easel

A sturdy studio easel built for drawing as much as painting. The main frame pivots on the base, so you can set your board upright, lean it back, or bring it toward a lower working angle that suits charcoal, graphite and pastel work, where a steeper surface helps dust fall away and a gentler one gives more control.

The Tilted Drawing Easel it combines a full H-frame with a folding A-frame base for stability on the studio floor. Brass wing nuts at the pivot points set the tilt, and black locking knobs hold the frame firmly in place. The tray adjusts in height along the central mast and locks with two knobs, and the top clamp slides down to secure boards and canvases of varying sizes.
