Derivan Block Ink Medium/Extender
Derivan's Block Ink Medium and Extender is a versatile medium, functioning as both an ink extender and a unique medium to create block inks from acrylic paint. A unique non-toxic and water based formula.
Use as an extender: This product can be used with Derivan's block ink range as a traditional extender. Add it to your inks to add transparency to your inks without losing body.
Tailor your experience by using between a 1:9 to 9:1 ration of Block Ink Extender to Derivan's block ink depending on the level of transparency you want to achieve. At a 1:1 ratio the colour will be extended after this additional extender will result in inks becoming more transparent.
Use to convert acrylic paint to block ink: recommend for use with the Matisse Structure Acrylic Paints to transform them into inks to use with block printing techniques.
Use a recommended 1:1 ratio with Matisse Structure Acrylic Paints to turn them into Block inks. With a range of more than 120 colours this medium greatly increases the colour options for your printing without the need for mixing your own palette.
