Awagami Editioning Kitakata Cool (Green) Select
Kitakata Cool (Green) is primarily composed of Philippine gampi fibre and has a very pale green tone w/ a subtle gloss. This paper is impressively resilient making it ideal for all printmaking (including chin colle') drawing, mixed media and alternative photography. Although listed as "unsized", Kitakata's gampi fibres have a natural resistance thus no additional sizing is needed.

Awagami Editioning Papers are crafted with the artistry and knowledge of 300 years of washi papermaking. The papers are made using traditional Japanese fibers such as kozo & gampi as well as other non-tree fibers; bamboo and cotton. Fibers are often skillfully combined yielding washi with highly unique textures and expressive characteristics. All washi in this collection feature 4 feathery deckled edges that add a subtle refinement to finished works.
Awagami Editioning Papers are acid-free, archival and made with a strict attention to quality and preservation. All the papers from this series may be used by artists for a wide range of techniques from ink to printmaking to drawing.
