Our popular Khadi paper available in black is made in exactly the same way as the rest of the range just using black cotton cuttings rather than white. These papers are made from 100% long fibred cotton rag

Internally sized with neutral pH size. Tub sized with gelatine. Acid free. Khadi papers are strong durable papers that are suitable for a range of techniques such as watercolour and all painting and drawing media. For oil painting prime with acrylic gesso.. 

Khadi black paper sheets are available in a smooth surface finish which offers a lightly textured surface. suited to a wider range of styles with the ability to hold more detailed work.

NOTE: due to the handmade nature of the khadi papers the smooth surface finish has more texture than traditional Hot Press watercolour paper
