Tarlatan (Coarse & Fine)
Tarlatan Coarse
A softer, loosely woven tarlatan used in intaglio printmaking for the initial wipe. Its open weave allows it to hold large amounts of ink, making it ideal for removing excess surface ink while keeping ink in the etched lines.
Tarlatan Fine
A firmer, more tightly sized tarlatan with a finer open weave. Used for secondary and final wiping, it offers greater control for refining tones and cleaning the plate without disturbing fine detail.
Both options are sold per metre.
