Graphic Chemical Ball Grounds are made from a traditional blend of wax and tar.

To apply, degrease and heat your copper or zinc plate, use a palette knife to apply a small amount of ground on the plate which can then be evenly spread across the plate with  ground with a brayer or dabber.

Graphics Extra Fine Ball Ground is used for the Verni-mou soft ground etching technique -  this allows drawings to be recorded on the plate and etched.
