E. C. Lyons irregular roulettes are made from the highest quality materials with a random roughened pattern wheel that gives a more organic feel to your shading and texture. The egg shaped roulette revolves around the shaft of the tool creating irregular stippling on the plate, the marked areas will hold more ink and produce deeper blacks. These tools can be used to fill in the edges of a mezzotint plate where the rocker has missed.
