M.E.S Professional Studio Series Presses 27HD Geared
Our range of professional quality geared presses offers various alternatives for the professional or home based printmaker. The steel bed and side frames become proportionally larger throughout this press range. All models are capable of being transported in sections to fit through a standard size doorway.
27HD Bed Size: 660 x 1270 mm (27 x 50")
Features include:
- Solid 12mm steel side frames with long bed supports for max. travel distance.
- Top and Bottom rollers of 170mm (6.5") diameter for optimum printing quality.
- Gearing ratio of: 5:1 driven by a half -inch steel chain.
- Handwheel 762mm (30") Larger wheel (40") optional.
- Chain drive contained in cast aluminium housing.
- Steel beds are 20mm thick with safety straps.
- Stand included in price.
- Geared: 5:1, 20mm thick bed stress relieved prior to grinding.
*Please note, the stand and castors are an additional cost. The stand measures roughly 82cm long x 62cm wide x 77cm height. The castors add an additional 10cm height to the stand.
