E C Lyons Angle Tint Tools are designed for engraving on end grain hardwood, copper, zinc, other metals and thick engraving plastics.
Tint tools are the most versatile tool in the engravers toolbox, producing straight lines of even width (often in parallel to create shading), creating curves (especially tight curves) and is the best tool for stippling techniques in producing a correct dot.
The E C Lyons angle tint tools have flat sides made from high grade carbon steel that is factory sharpened, but requires extra honing before use.
