The Light Newsprint is a 48gsm paper that is an in-expensive, low quality absorbent paper made from coarse wood pulp. It is often used for newspaper but its excellent for using as a draft paper, for life drawing and sketching purposes, and to use as a barrier paper between printmaking paper and press wool! Light news is not archival.
