Bone Folders

An essential tool for Bookbinding and paper/ material folding and scoring. These tools allow you to create crisp, precise folds in various materials. Most commonly used for folding book signatures and smoothing out paper and book cloth when adhering to board.

Traditional Bone Folders are available in a tapered 6" or 8" size. The pointed end of the tapered tools are perfect for scoring and creating creases, while the rounded edges of the larger bone folder are great for burnishing as required for burnishing leather edges.

We also offer a plastic version of the 6" tapered bone folder, a great economical alternative to bone.
